Keep your cupboards fresh and your linens protected with these traditional herbal sachets.
Using a blend of aromatic herbs known for their insect-repelling and scenting properties, these sachets are a simple way to bring the garden indoors. They make thoughtful, handmade gifts and are a staple of a well-managed natural home..

Hang or place these sachets on shelves and between your clothes and linen to keep them smelling fresh and to repel moths and other insects.
The orris root fixes the oils, making the scent last longer. If you cannot find it, leave it out.
INGREDIENTS
½ cup Southernwood leaves
1/2 cup Costmary
½ cup Lavender, leaves and flowers
½ cup Rosemary leaves
½ cup Bay Leaves
2 tsp Orris root (optional)
Small fabric sachets

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all of the herbs in a bowl and crumble with your hands.
Fill the fabric sachets and place them among your clothes, linen and blankets.
They will last up to 2 years.
