Do you have a sorrel plant in your garden but have no idea what to do with it?
Try this delicious sauce!
It provides a tangy lemony flavour which works well with fish, chicken or halloumi cheese
Ingredients
2 Tbsp butter
4 shallots or 6 spring onions, chopped
6 Tbsp cream
½ cup fresh, young sorrel leaves, finely chopped
Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions
Melt the butter in a pan over a medium heat
Add the shallots and fry for 2-3 minutes until softened
Add the cream and sorrel
Cook for 4-5 minutes until the leaves are soft.
Season with salt and pepper
